For the Birds via SVA

Here I am, settled down in my cozy little pad at SVA...with 6 other roommates!

Seriously, it's a real blast here. All my roommates are all swell mates & they great to be around. All the comforts of home all in one place. College life is sweet (& pretty expensive).

Here's that big surprise I promised you guys a few days back: a shiny new comic starring your favorite blog-oriented & heavily copyrighted fowl!

Unlike my last comic fiasco, I've got a majority of the story laid out already, so all I got to do is scan 'em, post 'em & finally bask in the blogger love!
Stay tuned for the second installment in the next couple of days

Hey Mike,
I'm really glad to see you like your new college, and I'm happy that your roomates have things in common with you. Its pretty cool that they like Smash Bros. too. I'd love to have roomates like that. And, you got a single bed. That's pretty cool. My brother saw you on the 10th, which was yesterday, at Erock school. Speaking of Erock, I don't know if you saw, but we have automatic sinks, toilets, and dryers in the bathroom. We also have new gym lockers. They look better than the ratty ones. I have art with Bishop again, in stage design and studio art, and he's wearing the pins you've made him. I see Bobby's hand, and Christine's hand drawn on the table, and I see your buttons on Mr.Bishop's coat. I really wish you guys were still here. I miss you. That was one of the best classes of the year. Well, even though you're gone, I'm glad you are having fun and enjoying your new school. Hey, who knows, maybe you'll bump into my sister while she's in the city. As for Brawl, I'm looking forward to it, and I'd like to be able to play the game with you if you are not to busy when it comes around. If it has WiFi, I'll get your friend number. You have lots of talent, and I'm sure you'll do great in SVA.
Hope to see you soon,
Denise

Hey Denise! First commenter in a LONG time!

I WAS at the school Monday. Awesome renovation (even though the wall look kinda pinkish with the light reflecting off the lockers & all). I didn't know about the auto gizmos in the bathrooms. Pretty sweet. At least YOU guys get to appreciate the new digs for a few more years, I missed out on all the new perks.

I'm usually home on the weekends working at the shop or Hofstra U., but on Monday I'm basically free. I'm gonna visit the school every few weeks or so (maybe every two weeks). E-mail me telling me what period/ time of the day you're in Bishop's & next time I'm visiting I'll check in on you guys & say hello.

Brawl is so close, yet so far away. I pre-ordered it online via Amazon & should be on my doorstep the day of release (or the day before; they do that sometimes). I'll definitely VS you online when it comes out.

Thanks for the comment & stay tuned for more comic goodness in the next couple of weeks! Ciao!

Hey Micheal! Good to see your enjoying your college, I like your pencil scans you've put up recently, especially the bunk bed pic from the post below and the window view, very atmospheric!

Keep it up!

Thanks Gaz! I like your drawings too! Those spuds of yours are stupendous!

Sounds like you had a nice trip overseas. This year I was over in Europe too, but only around Southern Italy & bits of Greece. Pretty scenic views.

Hi Mike,
Yeah, I'd love it if you'd stop by. I have 2nd period art. Its pretty early. In the spring I have Bishop 8th period. All year round my lunch is 7th period. Now I can go out for lunch. Its pretty cool being able to go to Wendy's and stuff like that. Yeah, the walls do like weird. Everyone thinks it looks like a hospital. It kinda does. Those comic drawings are really good. They're funny. I also like your occasional Brawl drawings. I enjoy looking at them. Who knows where SVA will take you, you may even have your own company some day. You definitely have the potential and talent to do so. I'll be looking forward to your visit.
