This was our final assignment for our Life Drawing class. We had to take a pre-existing composition and put our own spin on it. I used Corregio's Nativity as my basis, and slandered his painting of the birth of Jesus Christ by drawing a pointy-edged firehouse jazz band over it.
Personally, I liked Sachio's better.

I definitely see the resemblance in layout and flow. The humor of this piece is fine by itself, but seeing the piece that inspired it makes it all the funnier.
